Western's Ultrasound Department is Accredited by the American Institute of Ultrasound Medicine (AIUM).

What does that mean?

An organization must meet nationally accepted standards in diagnostic ultrasound practices and patient care excellence, as approved by the AIUM. When Western first obtained certification in March 1998, we were one of only five organizations in the state of MN to obtain this distinction, and one of approximately 200 in the U.S. at that time. As an accredited organization, Western patients and the providers we serve can be assured that our practice provides qualified personnel, the most current technology and equipment, consistent documentation, storage and record keeping, and policies and procedures that ensure high quality patient care. Meet Our Ultrasonographers:

Laurie is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with more than 25 years of experience. Laurie provides ultrasound services to patients at both of our offices in Waconia and Chaska.

Angie is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) who sees patients at both of our Waconia and Chaska offices.

Whenever you are scheduled for a scan at Western, Laurie and Angie will do their best to be sure you are comfortable and well-informed. We’re sure you’ll agree that they are warm and caring. Laurie and Angie, are highly skilled ultrasound sonographers who want to get to know you.
